Parkinson’s Disease may be my diagnosis, but it doesn’t define who I am! This revelation propelled me to learn how to thrive with Parkinson’s so I can fulfill the purpose God has for my life.
Healing Series Part 2
If you’re new to the blog, today is part 2 of The Healing Series. Before we go any further, we felt it was necessary to pause and share our diagnosis story. Timberley will share her story next.
We believe that knowing our diagnosis story will help give some perspective as to why we were desperate to seek God for our healing. After all, that was the catalyst to our deep study into God’s Word.
With that said, today I begin with; My Parkinson’s Story – Learning to thrive with Parkinson’s.
If you haven’t read Part 1 of the Healing Series, I encourage you to read it first. Then come back to today’s post.
My Parkinson’s Story
Since my Parkinson’s story is personal I thought the best way to help you understand how I came to grips with the diagnosis is to share in person. Grab your favorite beverage and get cozy because I’m about to get personal.

In The End
If you or someone you know has been recently diagnosed with any illness, I’m here to tell you your illness does not define you.
You are a child of God. And God has a purpose for your life.
Don’t just settle to live with your diagnosis whatever it may be. Purpose to thrive by seeking God in your health journey. Ask God for his help and to direct your steps in regard to your care.
Learn what you can and do what you can. Then wait on the Lord as you live for Him.
