This year’s Light Party with social distancing was one for the books!!!
Who would’ve imagined that we would host a Light Party while keeping social distance, wearing masks and avoiding large gatherings?
Light Party In 2020
Well, when there’s a will there is a way. With a little creativity, we found a way to; hand out 300 bags of candy to children while remaining 6 -feet away, serve 100 cups of hot chocolate, and receive prayer request all without contact.
How did we host a Light Party with social distancing? Watch the video below!

In The End
People have asked us how to host a Light Party. However, we believe the real question should be; why do we host a light party? Because, when you understand the why, the how will come organically by understanding the heart of what it means to go to the people without being the people.
You can learn all about the why and the how here: Why We Host A Light Party And How You Can Too. In this post, we share the history of Halloween, what the Bible says about Halloween and our response as a believer.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)
Remember no matter how you observe October 31 let each of us do our part to let our light so shine among men!
~ Andre and Timberley Gray
Andre and Timberley, you are so inspiring. Your light does shine brightly. You brighten my day and my heart when I read your newsletter. I’m in chronic pain and just can’t seem to get much done, but you both have health issues and still have the energy to love and teach others. Thank you!
Oh God bless you Judy for your encouraging words. We labor to care for our temples so we can do the things God has called us to. To keep it real – I had to fascia blast my whole body that night so I could move the next day. LOL Thank you for being apart of the LOP community we are encouraged by you too. ~ Blessings
