Our perspective in life changes when we choose to find God in the details of our lives.
Do you feel like you’re on a treadmill of life doing the same old stuff going nowhere? Perhaps you see your life as being mundane causing you to feel unproductive, unsatisfied, or discontent.
So many of us desire to see God and want Him to do something big in our life. However, the truth is, God is in every detail of our lives.
It may not seem like God is your laundry. But have you ever thought, praise God, I have a family who is alive for me to do laundry for?
Do you dred going to the grocery store? But have you praised God for having the finances to go to the store for your family?
Bored sitting at home, but have you praised God for having a roof over your head?
How about frustrated with work, your boss is driving you crazy, your co-workers gossip, and you feel underpaid; have you considered your purpose at your workplace? Have you asked yourself, why has God placed you there at that job, at this time? What about being thankful that you have a job; when so many people are unemployed.
Yes, we get discouraged with all the have to’s of life, but when we purpose to see God in the details of our life by changing our perspective, it will open our eyes to see all of God’s favor, grace and provision in our everyday life.
When the real estate market crashed, and we lost all that we had, we sought God and asked why we had to face such financial ruin. We remember so clearly when He told us to quit asking “why” and watch “how” He was going to get us through this. From that moment on, we stopped focusing on how bad everything was. As we started seeing God in every detail of our life.
The favor we had with the private school our daughter was attending at the time, with them allowing her to finish the school year with a special payment arrangement. The supernatural blessings that came in at the right time, so many times. The times we were home because there was no money to go out, was purposeful to our family, as it was during that time we created The Game Ledger.
When shared these things with our Pastors, something they told us that we will never forget is that God was always there in the midst of our everyday life, we just didn’t take the time to see Him in the details. We were to caught up in our problems, to even see Him.
You see; we have to decide to find God in the details. After all, Romans 8:28 tells us that God causes all things to work to our good.
“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor]
all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God
and are called according to [His] design and purpose.”
~ Romans 8:28 (AMPC)
Unfortunately, many people quote this scripture inappropriately by saying all things work for our good. No, the scripture says that God causes all things to work to the good to those who love God. This is a promise for God’s children. Because we are children of God, He will cause everything in our life to work for our good.
You must purpose to see God in your everyday living, knowing that everything you do, everywhere you work, everyone you come into contact with, even your financial situation is purposeful and works for your good. However, you must purpose to believe it, see it, and share it!

Even when we do not understand His plan, that is where our faith comes in and we need to trust. In the end it always seems to make sense.
Stephanie that is so difficult at times, but so true. His ways are always better than ours. Thank you for reading. ~ Blessings
