Can your daughter name all the princesses from Disney? What about these remarkable women of the Bible; Esther, Ruth, Hannah, Abagail, or Deborah?
If the answer is no, don’t you worry – you’re not alone. Our purpose at LOP is to provide biblical and practical resources to help you make time for what matters most. And today, I want to share a collection of books by Bible Belles that can help you teach young girls about the women of the Bible.
I hadn’t heard of Bible Belles until they asked if we could share their book collection with our community. Although we have many affiliate relationships, we only recommend products that we use and love.
And since I was unfamiliar with their book collection, I read a couple of the books they sent, in exchange for posting a review. Once I read their story I was intrigued.
You see, teaching the Bible in a manner that grabs your attention can be a challenge for many adults. Let alone trying to keep the attention from toddlers or young girls. However, the author writes these stories making the bible relevant and captivating with with beautiful pictures, and diversity of the characters.
This is so necessary today, because our young girls need to see themselves in the stories they read. With that said, here is my review.
My Bible Belles Book Review
Bible Belles Ideal For
In addition to bedtime story reading, Bible Belles books make the perfect gift for Easter baskets, gifts of frankincense (gifts that feed our spirit), or even for Mother’s Day! Yes, Mother’s Day – because without them, we wouldn’t have the privilege to be called mom.
In The End
Raising our young girls to be women after God’s heart begins with our influence, what we pour into their hearts and minds. There’s enough in this world pulling for the attention. But the good news is, we don’t have to compete with the world.
Our Bible tells the story of real women who did extraordinary things. We just need to share them!
If you’ve been looking for creative ways to teach young girls about these remarkable women in the Bible, I encourage you to look into Bible Belles.
